MSI MAG PANO100LPZ Chassis Announced with New Features
TapTechNews May 22nd news, MSI MAG PANO100LPZ chassis was officially announced to be on the market, with black and white two-color designs. The white one has an additional WHITE suffix, and the others remain the same, with the Chinese name "Black Blade/White Blade PLUS".
This chassis has added support for ATX motherboards compared to the previous MAG PANO M100LPZ and adjusted the position of the power supply compartment, and the missing M in the naming means this.
This chassis is relatively similar in shape to the previous M100L, both having a 270° viewable angle to meet the need for displaying ARGB light effects.
The size of this chassis is 20.4" x 11.4" x 18.9" (518.mm x 290mm x 482mm), which can support 9-slot ATX motherboards and also supports MSI's PROJECT ZERO series back-plug motherboards.
In terms of heat dissipation design, this chassis can install up to 10 fans, including 3 120mm on the side of the chassis, 3 120mm on the top, 3 120mm on the bottom, and 1 120mm at the rear, and some of them can also be replaced with 140mm fans to enhance the air output.
It is worth noting that this chassis has considered air-cooling users and can support a tower-type radiator with a maximum height of 6.5" (166mm) and is compatible with some water-cooling with relatively large cold heads. The cable routing space at the back of the chassis is up to 3.5" (90mm).
This MAG PANO100LPZ chassis supports multi-hard drive installation, including 3 2.5" and 2 3.5"/2.5" shared brackets. It can also support both horizontal and vertical placement of graphics cards and install an additional 2 60mm fans through the included fan bracket.
The front interface of the chassis is located at the lower left side of the chassis. In terms of expansion, it provides 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 interfaces with a maximum transfer rate of 5 Gb, and also comes with a Type-C interface that supports 20 Gb transfer; and it is equipped with a 3.5mm input/out put alternative interface and a reset button.
This chassis also adopts an integrated wiring module. In the past, in the chassis, you need to connect the wires for power-on, reset, and signal lights by yourself. Now, MSI's integrated wiring module can be easily plugged in like a USB or audio connector for quick access.
MSI officially stated that currently, this MAG PANO100LPZ (WHITE) chassis has arrived and will be launched on the market soon, with a retail price of $89.99. TapTechNews has not yet queried the price of the black version.
