JAC Motors and Huawei to Launch Luxury Intelligent NEV, Brand Name Uncertain

The two sides will conduct comprehensive cooperation in multiple fields such as product development, production and manufacturing, sales, and services based on Huawei's intelligent vehicle solution to create luxury intelligent connected electric vehicles.

According to the news on the official WeChat account of JAC Group, while continuously increasing investment in scientific and technological innovation and accelerating the transformation and development, the luxury intelligent new energy vehicle jointly created with Huawei is also about to be launched.
According to the article in the Feixi Release public account yesterday, the 'Super Factory' of the JAC high-end new energy vehicle base located in the Zhongpai area of Feixi will be responsible for the production of the cooperative models between JAC and Huawei. Currently, the equipment installation of the 'Super Factory' is nearing the end and is undergoing subsystem debugging.

According to the latest information he disclosed, the cooperative model between the two sides will be benchmarked against Maybach and Rolls-Royce. Yu Chengdong also said that the brand name of the 'Fourth Realm' has not been determined for the time being.
However, according to rumors, the brand name of the cooperation between Huawei and JAC is 'Ao Realm'. The official website of the Trademark Office of the National Intellectual Property Administration shows that since last year, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has intensively applied for a batch of 'X Realm' trademarks including Yue Realm, Yu Realm, He Realm, and Hua Realm, and 'Ao Realm' is also among them, and it is currently in the 'waiting for substantive examination' process. In addition, according to the trademark announcement in the 1884th issue of the announcement on April 20 this year, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. has transferred its registered 'Ao Realm' trademark to Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and the trademark classification is Category 12.
