Trumpchi E8 Glory Edition MPV Starts Pre-Sale with New Features

TapTechNews July 8th, GAC Group announced today that the Trumpchi E8 Glory Edition MPV has started pre-sale and is equipped with the i-GTEC2.0 super hybrid system. The new car will be launched on July 16th.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the price of the HEV Smart Edition is expected to be around 150,000 yuan ($21,000 approximately), and this car is equipped with an 8.88-inch digital LCD instrument cluster + a 14.6-inch high-definition central control touch screen, providing a single sunroof, LED front headlights, bilateral manual sliding side doors, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, leather seats, the driver's 6-way adjustable electric seat, the third-row seat folded and stowed, through-type side curtain airbags, a 14.6-inch central control screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, 360-degree panoramic image, etc.

The price of the HEV Glory Edition may be within 200,000 yuan ($28,000 approximately), adding 18-inch quiet tires, automatic headlight on/off, automatic wipers, double sunroofs, front windshield + front row window insulated glass, driver's seat lumbar support/ventilation/heating, second-row bilateral zero-gravity seats, bilateral electric sliding doors, 8-speaker audio system, wireless phone charging, power tailgate and L2 intelligent driving assistance and other configurations.

As a reference, the official guide price of the current Trumpchi E8 on sale is 209,800 - 235,800 yuan.
