Silent Hill 2 Remake One-Year Timed Exclusivity on PlayStation 5

TapTechNews September 20th news, the tech media WccfTech released a blog post yesterday (September 19th), reporting that the Silent Hill 2 remake game will have a one-year timed exclusivity on the PlayStation 5 game console, and will not be released on other platforms before October 8, 2025.

TapTechNews reported in August this year that the Silent Hill 2 remake game will be released on October 8, 2024 on the PlayStation 5 game console and the PC platform (via Steam).

The official confirmed that the game will have a one-year timed exclusivity on the game console platform, and it is not yet clear whether Xbox and Switch versions will be launched next October.

The Silent Hill 2 remake will be released on October 8th and will be available on PS5 and PC platforms. This game is developed by BlooberTeam and was officially announced in 2022. It is claimed to bring a top-notch visual feast, comparable to the Resident Evil series remake, and bring Japanese voice acting, more realistic character expression details, completely redone enemy AI, 4K texture support. Therefore, some players also call this game 4K HD remastered Silent Hill.
