Dongfeng Motor Hits 60 Millionth Vehicle Milestone with New Lantu Dreamer

In 1969, Dongfeng started to build China's first fully independently designed large-scale comprehensive automobile manufacturing plant from scratch.

In 1970, the first truck was trial-produced and rolled off the line.

In 2021, the first mass-produced Lantu FREE rolled out from the Dongfeng Lantu general assembly workshop, and the 52 millionth vehicle of Dongfeng was announced to roll off the line.

In 2024, the all-new Lantu Dreamer under Dongfeng Lantu rolled off the line and was launched, which is also the 60 millionth vehicle of Dongfeng Motor to roll off the line.

Calculated from the official production of the first basic model, the 2.5-ton off-road vehicle EQ240, Dongfeng Motor has spanned 49 years from 1 to 60 million. If counted from the beginning of the plant construction, it took 55 years.
