Seven Craftsmen Imaging Partners with Seagull for Lens Sales

TapTechNews on June 8th, it is reported that Seven Craftsmen Imaging announced today that it has reached a cooperation with the domestic lens veteran brand Seagull and will undertake the sales and promotion work of the Seagull brand lens series products. The Seven Craftsmen side expressed the hope that through this cooperation, a platform for experiencing and communicating domestic photographic equipment can be jointly built.

TapTechNews note: The former of Shanghai Seagull Digital Camera Co., Ltd. was Shanghai Camera General Factory, and its history can be traced back to 1958. In 1968, due to the need for product export, the Shanghai brand camera changed to use the registered trademark Seagull. In January 2011, Shanghai Seagull Digital Camera Co., Ltd. was established.

According to the official introduction of Seagull, the company is an enterprise dedicated to the development, manufacture and sales of imaging products that is newly established by integrating, inheriting and absorbing the high-quality resources such as the brand, R & D and manufacturing of the Shanghai Camera General Factory.

In May this year, Liu Wenjie, the PR (public relations) of Seven Craftsmen, showed a new lens product with the parameters of 85mm F1.8, and the release time has not been announced yet. The new lens product is equipped with an auto/manual focus toggle switch. Compared with the previous 50mm F1.8 lens, the toggle of the new product has changed from sliding left and right to sliding front and back, which can better prevent accidental touch.
