In the aspect of personal passenger car scrapping and renewal, the subsidy standard in the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the 2024 Beijing Automobile Trade-in Subsidy is adjusted: for scrapping the used cars that meet the standards and purchasing new energy passenger cars, it is increased from the original 10,000 yuan to 20,000 yuan; for scrapping the used cars that meet the standards and purchasing fuel passenger cars with a displacement of 2.0 liters and below, it is increased from the original 7,000 yuan to 15,000 yuan.

It is worth noting that for the consumers who have already applied for subsidies according to the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the 2024 Beijing Automobile Trade-in Subsidy, they can be supplemented with subsidies according to the new standard, and these two types of used cars should be registered under the name of the applicant before July 25, 2024 (inclusive). At the same time, a support policy for individuals to replace and upgrade to new energy vehicles will also be introduced.

In terms of the support policy for household appliance trade-in, there is also an upgrade: the city provides trade-in subsidies for individual consumers in Beijing who purchase 8 types of household appliance products such as refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, water heaters, household cookers, and range hoods that meet the 2nd-level energy efficiency or water efficiency standards, and the subsidy standard is 15% of the product sales price; for purchasing products that meet the 1st-level energy efficiency or water efficiency standards, the subsidy standard is 20% of the product sales price, and each consumer can be subsidized for one piece of each type of product, and each subsidy does not exceed 2,000 US dollars.

At present, the relevant departments are organizing and debugging the subsidy distribution system, and the subsidy activity will be officially launched online on the household appliance sales platform and offline in shopping mall stores soon.
