China Mobile Launches New 'Number Marking' Feature for Harassing Phone Call Protection

Officials announced today that in order to better protect everyone's call safety and tranquility, a brand new 'number marking' function has been launched.

China Mobile invites every user to participate in marking the incoming call numbers. Every marking can make the system identify and handle harassing phone calls faster, helping all users enjoy a quieter and safer call environment.

Step 1

Enter the 'China Mobile High-Frequency Harassing Phone Call Protection' public account, click the bottom menu 'Phone Protection' - 'More Value-Added Services', and then click 'Number Marking' on the next page.

Step 2

In the number marking page, click 'Continue Marking', which will display the user's incoming call records within 3 days.

Click the 'Click to Mark' button behind the number, and a marking page will pop up. Users can choose the option that matches this number among 11 marking items such as real estate agency, loan promotion, etc. They can also add this number to the blacklist simultaneously according to needs. After the operation is completed, click Confirm.

After the marking data passes the quality verification, it will be included in the high-frequency marking number database and applied to the harassment interception service.
