CHEERY Cherry Unveils New Shaft Bodies at Computex 2024

TapTechNews June 5th news, CHEERY Cherry launched several shaft bodies at Computex 2024 Taipei International Computer Show, including the first inductive solution-based MXMultipoint.

MXMultipoint

It is reported that MXMultipoint is Cherry's first inductive analog shaft body, providing three models to choose from, and will be officially launched in early 2025.

MXMultipointCyan (MXID-P1NA): Progressive spring linear shaft, 28.8 cN trigger force / 73.7 cN bottoming force. (note: 1 cN = approximately 0.224809 pound-force)

MXMultipointSilver (MXID-51NA): Linear shaft, 32.2 cN trigger force / 52.7 cN bottoming force.

MXMultipointBlack (MXID-11NA): Linear shaft, 36.1 cN trigger force / 70.5 cN bottoming force.

All three MXMultipoint shaft bodies have a 4-mm key travel, support custom trigger key travel, and have a click life of more than 200 million times and are factory lubricated.

Ducky and Varmilo keyboards with MXMultipoint shaft bodies are being exhibited at this Taipei Computer Show.

TapTechNews noticed that CHEERY also launched several new traditional mechanical shaft products:

MXSilentClear

MXSilentClear (MX2A-J1NB) is a silent tactile shaft, jointly launched with Ducky, with a 1.9-mm trigger key travel and a 3.7-mm total key travel, 55 cN trigger force, and equipped with the latest MX2A features and factory lubrication.

MXOrange

MXOrange (MX2A-LC3W) was originally produced by Hirose Electric in Japan and is now launched for keyboard enthusiasts, providing a 45 cN trigger force, a 2-mm trigger key travel, and a 4-mm total key travel, and also equipped with the MX2A features and factory lubrication.

CHERRY also launched its second-generation low-profile shaft product, model MX2B-XXXX, which will provide red shaft, speed silver shaft, the Ivory shaft specially designed for office scenarios, and the tactile Clear shaft. More information will be provided later.
