Apple Delays Release of New iPad Mini and Entry-level iPad

TapTechNews May 13th news, Apple released the new iPad Pro and iPad Air last week, but the highly anticipated new iPad mini was absent from the event.

TapTechNews noticed that the current iPad mini has not been updated since its release in 2021 and is in urgent need of an upgrade. However, according to Bloomberg's reporter Mark Gurman, users who love this 8.3-inch small tablet will have to wait as the seventh-generation iPad mini will not be released until at least the end of this year. In other words, the iPad mini 7 will not be released at the upcoming Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.

Gurman expects the next generation iPad mini to be equipped with a more powerful processor, but other aspects may not change much.

Previously, Gurman also stated that the new entry-level iPad is also unlikely to be released before the end of this year, with the current low-end iPad expected to be updated again in October 2022.
