Baidu Launches Intelligent Code Assistant Wenxin Kuaima

Wenxin Kuaima (BaiduComate) is based on the Wenxin large model, combined with Baidu's programming on-site big data accumulated over many years and external excellent open source data. It has multiple product advantages such as intelligent code, rich scenarios, creating value, and wide application, and can realize the application scenario of helping you think, write, and modify.
Baidu stated that among the tens of thousands of engineers in the company, 80% have already started to use Wenxin Kuaima, and the code adoption rate has reached 44%.
According to the introduction, Wenxin Kuaima has three major advantages: it understands R & D knowledge better and the development speed is fast; it understands the whole R & D process better and the business iteration is fast; it understands industry customers better and the enterprise landing is fast.
In addition, it can improve the efficiency of collaboration and drive business growth; it supports private deployment and hybrid cloud deployment, and fully supports a variety of mainstream IDEs and programming languages.
Wenxin Kuaima provides 4 versions, standard version, professional version, enterprise version, and enterprise exclusive version:
Standard version: For individual developers, the basic functions can be used without limit, and the advanced functions and models are used in a limited amount.
Professional version: For professional developers, both basic and advanced functions can be used without limit.
Enterprise version: For enterprise customers, on the basis of the professional version, it provides enterprise-level security and management, and also provides complete data reporting capabilities to help enterprises analyze the application effect and locate performance bottlenecks, and enables the R & D process to reduce costs and improve efficiency in one-stop.

Officials said that currently Wenxin Kuaima supports more than 100 mainstream programming languages, and it performs better in Go, Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, TypeScript coding scenarios.
Current IDEs supported by Wenxin Kuaima include VisualStudioCode (compatible with 1.70 and above), JetBrains IDEs (compatible with 2021.1 and above, including JetBrains IDEs such as IntelliJIDEA, PyCharm, GoLand, WebStorm, etc.), XCode and VisualStudio.
Baidu promises not to use the users' code for any subsequent actions such as storage, analysis, processing, and training. In the case of private deployment, the Wenxin Kuaima model and services are all deployed in the customer's private domain, and the data will not flow out, and both SaaS and private scenarios can be used with confidence!
According to the privacy agreement and following a responsible approach, Baidu also announced that it will ensure that the users' code snippets will not be used as the suggested code for other users of Wenxin Kuaima.
