Chinese Brand Passenger Cars' Strong Performance in 2024

TapTechNews August 23rd news, according to the statistics and analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in July 2024, Chinese brand passenger cars sold a total of 1.323 million units, a decrease of 7.6% month-on-month and an increase of 10.1% year-on-year, accounting for 66.4% of the total passenger car sales, and the market share increased by 9.2 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the first seven months of 2024, Chinese brand passenger cars sold a total of 8.742 million units, an increase of 21.6% year-on-year, accounting for 62.6% of the total passenger car sales, and the market share increased by 8.8 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year.
