Panasonic Group Shanghai Co-Creation Center's Relocation and Future Plans

TapTechNews October 9th news, the Panasonic Group Shanghai Co-Creation Center located in Hongkou District, Shanghai held a relocation ceremony today. The new office building that it moved into is located in Ruihong Enterprise World in Hongkou District, Shanghai.

After the relocation, the Co-Creation Center has a total of 6 legal person enterprises under Panasonic, more than 750 employees, and the total office area reaches 11,000 square meters (about 118,403 square feet). It is expected to become the largest and most extensive business outlet of the Panasonic Group in China, and will also serve as the functional headquarters of Panasonic's finance, logistics, IT, and international procurement in China.

TapTechNews learned from public information that Panasonic's business development in China has exceeded 40 years so far. In the Yangtze River Delta region, there are functional headquarters such as in-China logistics, finance, IT, international procurement, R & D centers, electronic components, and sales of automated equipment, the Chinese headquarters of automotive electronics, and an important production base for Panasonic's new energy business has been arranged.

At present, Panasonic has 33 enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region, with a total of more than 18,000 employees and an annual sales volume of 67 billion Chinese yuan.

In the 7th China International Import Expo to be held in Shanghai in November, Panasonic will display the new achievements of the three major businesses of healthy and smart living space, mobile travel, and smart manufacturing under the theme of SmartLife, SmartSociety.
