MSI MEGZ890UNIFY-X Motherboard Specifications Revealed

TapTechNews September 21st news, the blogger @ChamberTech_ released a PPT showing some specifications of the MSI MEGZ890UNIFY-X motherboard. This means that this series of motherboards is making a comeback after being absent from the AMD 600 or Intel 700 series.

This motherboard is equipped with an LGA-1851 socket and can be used with Intel's upcoming Core Ultra200K series desktop CPU (TapTechNews note: fastest to be released on October 10). The motherboard adopts a 20+1+1+1 power supply design, is equipped with MSI's new 8-pin auxiliary PCIe connector, has two DDR5 slots, and is expected to be officially released next month.

There are rumors that the Z890 series will support DDR5 CUDIMM technology, with a maximum support for 10,000 MT/s memory. If only one MSI motherboard can achieve this goal, it is most likely this UNIFY-X.

This motherboard adopts two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and one PCIe 4.0 x1 slot, and supports up to six M.2 SSDs. In addition, the Z890 motherboard will also support Wi-Fi 7 and 5G network ports.
