DXVK 2.4 Update Supports Direct3D8 Games, Adds Multiple Features and Fixes

TapTechNews July 11th news, the DXVK compatibility layer updated to version 2.4 yesterday, and the biggest change in this version is the integration of D8VK. In other words, DXVK now supports Direct3D8 games.

DXVK 2.4 also added support for multiple window system backends in dxvk-native, and applications can choose these backends when running;

DXVK's new version also adds the non-native refresh rate emulation function. Under full-screen vertical sync, if the frame rate is detected to be higher than the refresh rate of the user-selected display mode in a short time, the frame rate will be automatically limited to the same as the refresh rate.

In addition, DXVK 2.4 also fixes and improves a series of problems. TapTechNews excerpts some of them as follows:
