TapTechNews May 19th, blogger HazzadorGamin shared more information about Activision's newly established studio Elsewhere on X (Twitter) this afternoon: LinkedIn data shows that 75% of the studio's employees are former developers from CDProjektRed. The blogger said that this studio is seeking innovation in RPG-type games and hopes to'redefine' RPG games through armed combat and vehicles.

When talking about the size of the studio, the blogger indicated that there have been more than 32 registered employees so far, and the number may increase as the studio's recruitment work continues. He also believes that this new studio was already planned before being (acquired by Microsoft).

The studio was established in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and will be responsible for developing a 'narrative-based, new AAA IP game that redefines the genre'. Before this, it was officially disclosed that the developers have participated in the development of games such as 'The Last of Us', 'Uncharted', 'The Witcher' and 'Cyberpunk 2077' (CDProjektRED), 'Destiny' (Bungie), 'Tom Clancy's The Division' (Tom Clancy's The Division), and 'Far Cry' (Ubisoft).
