Apple iPadOS 18 Allows Freedom to Use Hotkeys to Add Emojis, New Features Added

For example, users can use the hotkey Control+Command+ space in the native iPad application to display the Emoji emoticon picker, but this function cannot be used for iPhone applications.

However, foreign media 9To5Mac recently discovered that Apple has canceled the relevant limitations in iPadOS 18, and now users can freely use the related hotkeys to add Emoji emoticons.

TapTechNews learned from Apple's official website that users can now use keyboard shortcuts for various operations in iPadOS:
Command-H: Go to the home screen.
Command-space bar: Show or hide the search bar.
Command-Tab: Switch between multiple open Apps to the next recently used App.
Command-Shift-3: Take a screenshot.
Command-Shift-4: Take a screenshot and immediately open Markup for viewing or editing.
Command-Option-D: Show or hide the Dock.

In addition, users can also customize keyboard shortcuts in Settings - Accessibility - Keyboard - Full Keyboard Control to improve the input experience.
