TapTechNews May 31, Microsoft today released the Windows 11 Build 26227 preview update for Windows Insider program members in the Canary channel.
Although the official didn't explicitly in the update log, currently, a data miner, PhantomOfEarth, found that Microsoft continues the process of removing the Control Panel in the relevant version and migrated two mouse configuration functions to the new settings.
TapTechNews learned that the relevant functions are disabled by default in Build 26227, and after manual activation, users can see two options, Enhance pointer precision and Mouse wheel direction, in the mouse tab in the settings.
But will the Control Panel completely disappear? The author thinks not. Microsoft just hopes that after all the functions are migrated to the settings, users will form the habit of using the settings.
