Vinfast Adjusts 2024 Delivery Target from 100K to 80K

TapTechNews July 13th news, the new Vietnamese car-making force Vinfast announced today that the expected delivery volume in 2024 will be reduced from 100,000 units to 80,000 units.

Data shows that Vinfast delivered 12,058 vehicles in the second quarter, an increase of 24% compared to the first quarter. In the first half of the year, 21,747 vehicles were delivered, an increase of 92% year-on-year.

TapTechNews noticed that Vinfast announced the financial results of the fourth quarter of 2023 and the fiscal year 2023 in February this year. Data shows that as of December 31, 2023, Vinfast's fourth-quarter revenue was 437 million US dollars, an increase of 26% quarter-on-quarter and 133% year-on-year; the annual revenue was 1198 million US dollars, an increase of 91% year-on-year.

Vinfast also put forward a new goal: to establish approximately 400 sales points globally by the end of this year and strengthen the effective competitive ability in other markets to expand the scale, especially in markets relatively close to the local area such as Indonesia and India. In this fiscal year (that is, the fiscal year 2024), VinFast's car delivery goal is 100,000 vehicles.
