Peugeot to Provide ChatGPT 3.5 Support to New-Generation Models in Europe

TapTechNews July 10th news, on July 8th local time, the Peugeot brand under Stellantis Stellantis announced that it will fully push the support of ChatGPT 3.5 to the new-generation models in 17 European markets in 12 different languages.

This support has currently been deployed in Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom; and will cover Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, and the Czech Republic by the end of this month.

All the latest-generation models of Peugeot, as long as they are equipped with the i-Cockpit intelligent cockpit that supports voice commands, will receive the OTA upgrade that supports the ChatGPT function.

These models include the new 208, the new 2008, the new 308, the new 308SW, the new 408, the new 508, the new 508SW, the new RIFTER, the new TRAVELLER, the new PARTNER, the new EXPERT, and the new 3008 and new 5008 to be launched before the end of the year.

Peugeot said that ChatGPT can be activated by the voice command of 'OKPEUGEOT', and can answer various complex questions on the road, such as indicating the historical sites and their history in the user's city; it can also provide customized entertainment for children to relieve the boredom of long-distance travel.

In terms of pricing, for new car owners, ChatGPT is included in the Peugeot ConnectPlusPack subscription package. New cars are given a 6-month free subscription to ConnectPlusPack, and the renewal price is 120 euros per year (TapTechNews note: currently about 945 RMB) or 12 euros per month;

For old car owners, they can pay 15 euros per year (currently about 118 RMB) or 1.5 euros per month to subscribe to the ChatGPT service separately.
