Apple's VisionPro Set to Launch Internationally After Passing Certification

TapTechNews May 14th news, yesterday, two new Apple devices passed the national 3C quality certification, one of which is labeled as 'wearable computer', model A2117, manufactured by Luxshare Precision, obviously Apple's VisionPro.

In addition, a new mobile power supply with model A2781 also passed the 3C certification, showing it is manufactured by GoerTek, the matching battery for VisionPro.

It is worth mentioning that Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported a few days ago that the Apple AppleVisionPro headset is about to be released in countries and regions outside the United States, with retail store employees from around the world flying to Cupertino to attend a 4-day VisionPro training course.

Apple has also held similar training courses for VisionPro before it was launched in the United States, including how to demonstrate to customers and answer their questions. Apple has not yet announced the exact launch date of VisionPro in other countries and regions, but sources said that the company plans to launch VisionPro internationally for the first time after WWDC24 Global Developers Conference. This year's Apple Global Developers Conference will be held from June 10th to 14th.

According to reports, employees attending the training courses are from Apple retail stores in Australia, China, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, so these countries and regions are likely to be the first markets to receive VisionPro after the United States. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that VisionPro will be launched in more countries before WWDC, but Bloomberg's latest news says it will be after WWDC, which is different from Kuo's prediction.

Since its launch, interest in VisionPro in the U.S. market has declined, and Apple has reportedly reduced the shipment volume of VisionPro as a result. Sales in the international market may revive consumer interest in the device, but the price of $3500 (approximately 25340 RMB currently) is still a major obstacle to its popularity. Apple has not yet announced the price of the headset in non-U.S. regions.
