Dongfeng Motor Announces Strategic Cooperation with Multiple Partners and Unveils Future Plans
TapTechNews September 23rd news, at today's 2024 Dongfeng Motor Brand Autumn Conference and the opening ceremony of the 9th Technology Innovation Week, Dongfeng Motor announced to carry out strategic cooperation with 14 partners including CICT, Huawei, Tencent, etc. to create an innovation consortium.
The cooperation will focus on AI intelligence, autonomous driving, intelligent cockpit, chip low-altitude economy, basic technology, and cutting-edge technology to jointly build an intelligent innovation ecosystem.
Moreover, in response to the call for the application pilot of vehicle-road-cloud integration for intelligent connected vehicles, the Dongfeng Motor Research Institute jointly established the vehicle-road-cloud integration industrial technology innovation consortium with 11 units.
At the same time, the Dongfeng Motor Future Transport Laboratory was also established and unveiled, with six research groups including future transport forms, tools, technology communications, services, and standards, dedicated to becoming a national key laboratory.
TapTechNews learned from the opening ceremony that this technology week exhibits more than 80 technological exhibits, the richest ever, and will fully display the technological achievements of Dongfeng Motor.
