ASUS Showcased ProArt Series Monitors at IBC2024

TapTechNews September 16th news, ASUS showcased some ProArt series products at IBC2024 in the Netherlands, such as the 8K MiniLED monitor PA32KCX, the 4K QD-OLED professional monitor PA32UCDM, and the 5K-resolution PA27JCV, etc.

As the name suggests, this series of monitors continues the classic design of ProArt, and the ProArt PA32KCX comes with a light shield to reduce peripheral interference and strong light glare interference.

The PA32KCX adopts a 32-inch MiniLED backlight panel with 4096 backlight zones and a resolution of 7680x4320; it provides dual Thunderbolt 4 (96W PD power supply), HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 interfaces, and has a USB hub.

The typical brightness can reach 1000 nits, and the peak brightness is 1200 nits, and it supports various HDR formats including HLG and HDR10.

This monitor has undergone strict color calibration at the factory, supports 10-bit display, covers 97% DCI-P3 and 99% AdobeRGB color gamut, the color difference ΔE < 1, comes with a color calibrator, and can be used with professional color calibrators such as Calman and LightIllusion ColourSpace CMS, and supports automatic color calibration (including SDR and HDR modes, supports Windows and macOS).

In other aspects, ASUS ProArt monitors also adopt LuxPixel technology, including anti-glare, low-reflection (AGLR) technology and EyeCare+ eye protection technology to reduce eye fatigue.

The other PA32UCDM adopts a 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 3840x2160 and a 10-bit color depth, and the color difference is also ΔE < 1, covering 99% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Although the PA32UCDM also has factory color calibration, it only provides ASUS's ProArt calibration tool, which can help users calibrate in SDR and HDR modes, and is also applicable to macOS and Windows.
