According to the nature of the complaints, after-sales service problems accounted for 29.00%, contract problems accounted for 24.30%, quality problems accounted for 21.07%, false propaganda problems accounted for 6.02%, safety problems accounted for 4.32%, price problems accounted for 4.29%, counterfeit problems accounted for 1.74%, personal rights and interests problems accounted for 1.06%, and measurement problems accounted for 0.91%. Compared with the first half of 2023, the proportions of complaints about quality, false propaganda, and safety problems increased, while the proportions of complaints about after-sales service, price, and personal rights and interests problems decreased.

In the category of commodities, household electronic appliances, clothing, shoes and hats, daily necessities, food, and means of transportation ranked the top five in terms of complaint volume. In the category of services, life and social services, Internet services, telecommunications services, education and training services, and sales services ranked the top five.

In specific commodity complaints, the top five in terms of complaint volume were: clothing, food, communication products, shoes, and automotive parts. In specific service complaints, the top five in terms of complaint volume were operating Internet services, mobile phone services, catering services, training services, and accommodation services.
