MiniMaker Unveils TurboMiniX Mini PC at Computex 2024 Taipei

TapTechNews June 17th news, according to foreign media Tom's Hardware report, MiniMaker showcased the TurboMiniX mini PC at Computex 2024 Taipei, with its thickness being only 1.42 inches and volume only 0.09 cubic feet.

The mini PC uses DC external power supply, is equipped with a blower for heat dissipation, and is equipped with an Intel B760 motherboard, compatible with the LGA1700 CPU with a power consumption of 65 watts, supports SO-DIMM memory, including DDR4/5 dual versions.

In terms of storage, TurboMiniX provides 2 M.2 2280 slots, both supporting PCIe Gen4 x4, coming from the CPU and the B760 chipset, and there is also a 2.5-inch SATA slot with a thickness of 0.28 inches.

When it comes to storage, MiniMaker has equipped it with 1 Gigabit Ethernet port, and a Wi-Fi 6E/7 wireless network card is also optional.

The front side of the TurboMiniX provides 2 USB 5 Gbps Type-A interfaces, 1 10 G Type-C interface that supports 45 watts fast charging, 1 20 G Type-C interface, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack and a power button that supports fingerprint recognition.

On the back panel, the mini PC provides 4 USB 2.0 Type-A interfaces, 2 DP 1.4 video output ports, 1 HDMI 1.4 output port, and also a dedicated graphics card dock interface for StreamPlayX.

This graphics card dock interface adopts the USB Type-C shape, but achieves the standard PCIe connection. MiniMaker said that this graphics card dock interface can unleash the true graphic performance, with only 5% external loss.

The StreamPlayX graphics card dock adopts the seaview room design element, supporting graphics cards with a thickness of 2.5 slots and a length of 10.5 inches.

The graphics card dock can choose 250/350/400 watts of built-in power supply, and provides at most two sets of PCIe 8-Pin auxiliary power supplies.

MiniMaker representatives told foreign media that the pricing of both the TurboMiniX mini PC barebones system and the StreamPlayX dedicated graphics card dock is possibly less than 150 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 1091 yuan).
