Douyu Releases Unaudited Q2 2024 Financial Report

TapTechNews September 12th news, Douyu today released the unaudited financial report for the second quarter of 2024. In the second quarter of 2024, Douyu's total revenue was $1.51 billion, compared with $2.05 billion in the same period of 2023.

Douyu's gross profit in the second quarter was $123.64 million, and the gross margin was 8.2%; a net loss of $72.36 million, and the loss narrowed significantly compared to the previous quarter, while the net income in the same period of 2023 was $10.02 million.

In the second quarter, the quarterly average MAU of Douyu on the mobile side was 44.1 million, and the number of paying users was 3.4 million.

Douyu's financial report said that this quarter continues to maintain the strategic direction of 'a diversified content ecological platform centered on games', while optimizing the company's income structure, further exploring content innovation and income diversification.

In the second quarter of 2024, the income of Douyu's innovative business, advertising and other businesses reached $354.84 million, which was 1.8 times that of the same period last year, and the income contribution ratio was 23.4%, which was significantly improved compared with 9.6% in the same period of 2023.
