Yamaha to Release 2024 Jog125 Motorcycle in September, with Expected Domestic Sale This Year

TapTechNews August 5th news, Yamaha today announced that the 2024 Jog125 motorcycle will be released in the Japanese market on September 20, and the domestic version (Qiaoge) is expected to be on sale within this year, with a starting price of $1225 (approx. 8580 yuan).

Referring to the official teaser image, the 2024 Yamaha Jog125 model offers four color options: Magic Red, Qingmu Blue, Cool Black, and Deep Sea Blue. It adopts a new smoked-color Yamaha sign and 3D decal. The size of the front cover and lamp group has increased, and the size of the seat cushion has also increased, with a mudguard on the inner side of the rear wheel.

In addition, the 2024 Yamaha Jog125 model is equipped with a 10W USB-C interface and an LCD liquid crystal instrument, and the storage space of the seat bucket is 17 liters.

In terms of specifications, TapTechNews learned that the vehicle measures 1805×685×1050 millimeters, the seat height is 740 millimeters, and the fuel tank capacity is 5.1 liters. It is equipped with a single-cylinder air-cooled engine with a displacement of 125 cubic centimeters, the maximum power is 6.1 kilowatts, and the peak torque is 9.7 Newton-meters. The transmission system is a belt-type continuously variable transmission.
