2024 Intel On Technology Innovation Conference to Be Held in US

TapTechNews May 28th news, according to the Intel official website page, the 2024 Intel On Technology Innovation Conference (Intel Innovation 2024) will be held in San Jose, California, USA from September 24th to 25th local time.

The specific opening time of this conference is 9:33 am Beijing time on September 25th (as stated on the official website).

In the previous On Technology Innovation Conference held in September 2023, Intel previewed the fifth-generation Xeon Scalable processors and the first-generation Core Ultra processors, and demonstrated the test chip packaging based on the UCIe specification.

Benchlife.Info, a Taiwanese media, said that Intel will release the high-core-count Intel Xeon 6 performance core processor with the code name Granite Rapids-AP at the 2024 Intel On Technology Innovation Conference.

The Intel official currently only generally stated that the Xeon 6 energy-efficient core processor with the code name Sierra Forest will be released by the end of next month, and Granite Rapids will be launched shortly after, and did not confirm the specific official announcement time of these two series of processors - the SP and AP versions.

According to the information currently available to TapTechNews, the Granite Rapids-AP processor will include 3 computing modules based on the Intel 3 process and 2 HSIO modules, and the highest-end model has approximately 120 cores.

Granite Rapids-AP will adopt the LGA7529 socket and support 12-channel memory.
