Huawei Releases MatePad 11.5"S Tablet with New Processor

The 8GB version of MatePad 11.5"S was launched in May. Users found that the 8GB Soft Light Edition is equipped with the 8-core 12-thread Kirin 9000WL chip, and the 8GB Smart Edition is equipped with the 6-core 9-thread Kirin 9000WM chip.

The 12GB version of MatePad 11.5"S was launched this week. According to the feedback from the users who received the goods, the 12GB version of the MatePad 11.5"S Soft Light Edition uses a new processor, named Kirin 9000WE.

The information recognized by the software shows that the CPU of Kirin 9000WE is 8-core 12-thread, with the frequencies of 2×2487 MHz + 6×2150 MHz + 4×1530 MHz, which is the same as that of Kirin 9000WL and Kirin 9000S1.

The GPU of Kirin 9000WE is Mali 910, with the highest frequency of 750 MHz, which is also the same as that of Kirin 9000WL. Currently, it is not clear what the difference between these two processors is. TapTechNews will continue to pay attention and bring follow-up reports.
