BYD Unveils Seal 06GT with Sporty Interior and Configurations
TapTechNews August 26th news, this morning, Zhang Zhuo, general manager of the Ocean Network Sales Division of BYD Auto, released a set of official interior pictures of a new model - Seal 06GT, and disclosed some configuration information.
According to his introduction, the Seal 06GT creates a distinctive sportiness for Seal 06GT. The center console area of the new car is composed of a large number of smooth curves, equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, which looks like a fish fin. In addition, it can be seen that the car is equipped with a floating instrument panel and central control screen, as well as a crystal gear lever.
In terms of configuration, the car will provide advanced version of intelligent cockpit - DiLink 100, Dynaudio audio, W-HUD head-up display system and many other configurations.
The official has previously announced the official appearance picture of the new car, claiming to be the first GT for young people. The new car will be unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 30.
The Seal 06GT adopts the family-style front face design of the Ocean Network, which is basically the same as the current Seal 06DM-i. The side of the body adopts a hidden door handle design, and is matched with a low-profile shape to reduce wind resistance, and the rear uses a through-type taillight design. Previously, BYD officially called this car the industry's first hatchback rear-wheel drive pure electric hot hatch.
TapTechNews learned from the information declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the new car has a length, width and height of 4630/1880/1490 millimeters (about 15.2/6.2/4.9 feet) respectively, and the wheelbase is 2820 millimeters (about 9.25 feet). The single-motor model provides two different power drive motors, with the maximum power of 160 kilowatts and 165 kilowatts respectively. The dual-motor model is equipped with a front AC asynchronous motor and a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the power of the two motors is 110 kilowatts and 200 kilowatts respectively.
The 27th Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition will be held in China Western International Expo City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province from August 30th to September 8th, 2024. This exhibition will be the first A-class auto show in the second half of 2024 in China. Domestic A-class auto shows include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Chongqing auto shows.
