All-New Electric MINI COOPER Features, Specs, and More

TapTechNews July 11th news, according to the news of BMW Customer, the all-new electric MINI COOPER迎来了首位车主 within 48 hours of its listing. This new car is produced by the Spotlight Automotive Company, a joint venture between Great Wall and BMW, with an official guide price starting from 189,800 yuan.

This car offers six color schemes including Galaxy Gray, Polar Bear White, British Green, Benedict Yellow, Magic Blue, and Chili Red, and adopts a two-tone body design (black roof). The new car still retains a large number of classic design elements of the MINI brand, with length, width and height of 3858/1756/1458 millimeters (about 151.9/69.1/57.4 inches) respectively, and a wheelbase of 2526 millimeters (about 99.4 inches).

It is worth noting that the new car is equipped with a smart watch-style 240mm diameter circular central control screen, and the series of car machines is based on the MINI Operating System 9 of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), supporting features such as personal voice assistant, navigation, games, streaming media, digital key of mobile phone, etc.

In addition, this new car also has ambient projection lights, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, automatic parking assistance, cruise control, wireless mobile phone charging, steering wheel heating, driving safety assistance system, MINI connected travel service, etc., and provides manually adjustable, blue-black Vescin leather/fabric dual-seat.

COOPER E: The maximum power is 135 kilowatts, and the peak torque is 290 Newton-meters. The acceleration time from 0 to 62 mph is 7.3 seconds.

COOPER S: The maximum power is 160 kilowatts, and the peak torque is 330 Newton-meters. The acceleration time from 0 to 62 mph is 6.7 seconds.
