The First Domestic Hongmeng-based Humanoid Robot Kuafu Tested and Verified in Factories

It is learned that the Pan Gu large model + Kuafu humanoid robot will be promoted and applied simultaneously in industrial and household scenarios.

In December last year, Leju Robot announced the launch of a new robot product, Kuafu, which is claimed to be the first domestic open source Hongmeng humanoid robot that can jump and adapt to walking on multiple terrains. This robot is equipped with KaihongOS developed by Shenkaihong based on open source Hongmeng, adopts a full-stack open source design, and the motion controller is fully open source, and can be connected to modules such as trajectory planning, feedback control, and state estimation.

In March this year, Haier Robot and Leju Robot jointly exhibited the first domestic humanoid robot for household scenarios, Kuafu, at the 2024 China Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo (referred to as: AWE). As the first domestic open source Hongmeng humanoid robot that can jump and adapt to walking on multiple terrains, in addition to demonstrating its control capabilities such as jumping and fast walking at the AWE exhibition site, it also demonstrated recent hand operation achievements such as washing clothes, watering flowers, arranging flowers, and hanging clothes.
