Huawei Launches Aggregated Code Scanning Function in HarmonyOS NEXT
TapTechNews June 25th news, Spark, the product manager of Huawei Terminal BG's code scanning service, shared the highlights of the aggregated code scanning function of Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT at the HDC Developer Conference. It is introduced that the regular code scanning requires one 'identification' + two'searches', and the steps are as follows:
Users need to scan the QR code → identify the application to which the QR code belongs → find the application → open the application → find the code scanning entrance → scan the code → reach the service page
Huawei launched a code scanning direct-access function in the HarmonyOS NEXT system, which can be permanently located in the control center and can be clicked to scan the code, supporting functions such as code scanning for payment / ordering food / cycling / renting a power bank / storing and retrieving express delivery, etc.
TapTechNews learned that this function supports all mainstream QR codes, and users can directly enter the specified service interface of the application after scanning the code.
The code scanning direct-access function is permanently located in the Camera App (main entrance of the function), supporting users to add it to the control center and lock screen. Both in the locked screen state and the unlocked state, 'one-step scanning' is supported.
When the user has not installed the App to which the QR code belongs, this function will guide the user to the App download page of the application store.
This function also integrates the code scanning function with the camera zoom, supporting code scanning through automatic zoom. Under normal lighting conditions, the maximum scanning distance of the 18×18 cm size QR code is 18 yards; in the dim environment, the accuracy rate of the code scanning low-light algorithm is 92%; the accuracy rate of code scanning in other complex scenarios is 92%; the code scanning time delay is 550 ms.
