TapTechNews August 23rd news, the three-screen notebook product TriMaxPro has launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter platform no later than the 21st of this month local time. The notebook uses a hinge to equip a secondary screen on each side of the main screen.
In the design concept of this three-screen notebook, Razer once exhibited ProjectValerie equipped with three 17.3-inch 4K resolution IZGO displays at CES 2017. However, ProjectValerie finally remained at the concept level and did not enter the mass production stage.
And TriMaxPro is expected to turn the three-screen notebook from concept to mass-produced product. The middle main screen adopts a 16-inch 1920×1200 resolution 60Hz refresh rate IPS panel, and the brightness can reach 400 nits, while the screens on both sides are 10.3-inch FHD resolution.
The C-side design of the TriMaxPro notebook is also different from regular products. It adopts a layout with the keyboard at the bottom and the touchpad at the top, and is equipped with a mechanical keyboard, and the upper part also contains a fingerprint recognition button. In addition, this notebook has a built-in 90Wh battery and supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The barebone version of the TriMaxPro notebook is equipped with the Intel Core i5-1235U processor, with a crowdfunding price of 799 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 5,707 RMB); the version equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor and 16GB of memory + 512GB of solid-state drive has a crowdfunding price of 999 US dollars (currently about 7,136 RMB).
