Microsoft Teams Updates in July New Views, Enhanced Experiences, and More

TapTechNews August 1st news, Microsoft yesterday (July 31st) posted a blog post summarizing the many improvements brought to the Microsoft Teams application in July this year, including bringing new views for meetings, etc..

Introducing New Views for Meetings

Microsoft says that whether the camera is on or not, the new view will place everyone in tiles of the same size.

After TeamsRoom joins a Teams meeting, the video tile in the conference room will automatically enlarge to provide a more comprehensive experience for online participants.

Although the default gallery size is for 16 participants, users can customize the number of participants visible on the screen (up to 49 people).

Enhancing Event Experience

Event organizers can now use the drag-and-drop function to move the order of event hosts. In addition, organizers can use a new toggle switch to turn on or off the speaker's video during the event. TapTechNews attached relevant pictures as follows:

Microsoft Mesh: More Reactions

Microsoft has expanded the Microsoft Mesh expressions, and participants and speakers can understand the acceptance of participants for events and meetings and their contents. The new reactions can be played in the immersive space (3D) view in Teams and Mesh events.
