Acer has launched the Vero HL68 series laser projector in the overseas market on May 25th, TapTechNews. It adopts a 0.65-inch 4K DMD, with a brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens, and the starting price is 1599 euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 1799 US dollars).
Vero HL6810: To be launched in August, 1599 euros (currently about 1799 US dollars).
Vero HL6810 ATV: With an integrated Android TV module, to be launched in June, 1699 euros (currently about 1949 US dollars).
The Acer Vero HL68 series projector is equipped with a native 4K resolution 0.65-inch DMD and uses a laser/LED hybrid light source: the brightness can reach 4000 ANSI lumens, and the lifespan is 20000 hours; in the energy-saving mode, the brightness is 3200 ANSI lumens, and the lifespan is 30000 hours.
In addition, this projector also has a dynamic contrast ratio of 50000:1, a 105% Rec.709 color gamut, a 10-bit color depth, supports HDR10 and HLG, and provides 1.3x zoom and trapezoidal correction functions.
The rear of the Vero HL6810 ATV also has an Android TV module expansion interface (connected using the HDMI and USB-C interfaces), and also provides two HDMI 2.0 and one USB 2.0 interface, and has a built-in 10W speaker.
The Acer Vero HL68 series projector has dimensions of 304x226x119mm and weighs about 3kg, and supports various installation methods such as wall mounting. The noise in the energy-saving mode is 29dB.
