2024 Geely Maple 80vL Model Launched in the US Market
TapTechNews August 10th news, Geely Automobile announced today that the 2024 Maple 80vL model under its brand has officially gone on the market. The new car has launched 4 models, namely the 6-seat/7-seat versions of the 407 kilometers and the 6-seat/7-seat versions of the 515 kilometers. The official guide price range is $23,500 - $25,800. It is introduced that this car is mainly for the operation market such as online car-hailing, while also taking into account household needs. In terms of appearance, the front and rear shapes of this car have not changed much compared with the current Maple 80vPRO, and it is equipped with through-type taillights and 17-inch rims.
In the cockpit, the car is equipped with a 10.33-inch center console + a 7-inch LCD instrument, with 23 storage spaces and a 459-liter trunk. In terms of intelligence, it is equipped with standard ABS+EBD, reverse radar, TCS traction control system, ESP vehicle electronic stability control system, HAC uphill assist system, delayed headlight shut-off, pedestrian collision protection, four-door window ripple anti-pinch and other safety configurations.
In terms of specifications, the car has a length, width and height of 189.4 inches x 75.1 inches x 66.9 inches, and the wheelbase is 110.5 inches. Among them, the high-end model is equipped with a 68.08 kWh lithium manganese iron phosphate battery, and the CLTC cruising range can reach up to 515 kilometers at most; the low-end version is equipped with a 50.4 kWh lithium manganese iron phosphate battery, and the CLTC pure electric cruising range is 407 kilometers. Both models use a front-mounted single-motor drive, with a maximum power of 134 horsepower and a peak torque of 169 lb-ft.
The official also introduced the charging characteristics of this car, claiming that 80vL can be charged from 30% to 80% in the fastest only 30 minutes (40 minutes for the 515-kilometer version), and the battery swap can be completed in the fastest only 60 seconds (currently only supports the 407-kilometer version).
