BYD Yangwang U7 Features and specifications revealed

TapTechNews June 26th, BYD's Yangwang Automobile publicly released a video of the Yangwang U7 today. In the video, it is mentioned that the Yangwang U7 supports bidirectional 20° rear wheel steering and Yi Square agile steering, and the turning radius is 4.85 meters (about 15.9 feet).

The video also disclosed the body dimensions of the Yangwang U7, which are 5265 mm (about 207.2 inches) in length, 1998 mm (about 78.7 inches) in width, and 1528 mm (about 60.1 inches) in height, claiming it has the 'flagship figure, A0-level agility'.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25th, the BYD Yangwang U7 officially debuted, positioned as a million-dollar new energy flagship sedan, and was the first to be equipped with the'revolutionary technology' Yunzhan-Z, and will be officially launched in the second half of the year.

According to the official introduction, the Yunzhan-Z suspension technology can bring a 'beyond magnetic levitation' comfortable riding experience for users, 'wherever it goes, it feels like walking on flat ground'. Yunzhan-Z supports ultra-fast adjustment with a response speed as fast as 10 ms; it supports energy recovery and can realize battery charging.

The Yangwang U7 has 1300 horsepower, 2.9 seconds 0 to 60 mph acceleration, a top speed of 270 km/h (about 167.8 mph), and is standard with high-performance carbon ceramic brake discs. The braking distance from 100 km/h is at the 33-meter level, and the drag coefficient is 0.195 under the 120 km/h test standard, making it the production car with the lowest drag coefficient in the world.
