Foxconn Singapore to Invest $551M in Vietnam for Two New Projects

TapTechNews July 5, it was reported according to the local official media in Vietnam that Foxconn Singapore has been granted permission to invest 551 million US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 4.013 billion yuan) to build two new projects in Quang Ninh Province in northern Vietnam, and it is estimated to be completed in July 2026.

TapTechNews queried relevant reports. The first project of Foxconn is located in the Song Khoai Amata Industrial Park, with a planned investment of 263.7 million US dollars (currently about 1.92 billion yuan), mainly producing smart entertainment products with an annual capacity of 4.18 million pieces.

The second project is located in the Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park, with an investment of 287.2 million US dollars (currently about 2.092 billion yuan) and covers an area of 12.4 hectares, focusing on the production of smart system devices.

According to the information in the investment authorization certificate, these two new projects will be completed in July 2026, and after a period of mechanical installation and trial operation, they will be officially put into production in May 2027.
