All-New FAW-Volkswagen Magotan Debuts with Advanced Features

The new car has launched 3 models with different configurations, and the price range is from 17.99 to 24.69 thousand US dollars. The new car is developed based on the MQB-B platform, has a brand-new interior and exterior design, and is equipped with the DJI intelligent driving solution, supporting IQ.Pilot intelligent driving assistance and L2+ level autonomous driving function. The vehicle is equipped with the 8155 chip, and the high-end version is equipped with three display screens, and provides two power systems of 1.5T and 2.0T.
The appearance design of the all-new Magotan adopts a new family design style, taking the Timeless as the design concept, equipped with IQ.LIGHT matrix headlights, and the central Volkswagen brand LOGO can be illuminated. The through-type light strip on both sides enhances the sense of technology. The large-size diversion groove shape and black trim decoration at the front of the car make the front face look more sporty. The side lines of the body are straight and smooth, equipped with 17/18/19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and the body size is 4990/1854/1487 inches (approx. 126.7/47.1/37.8 cm), and the wheelbase is 2871 inches (approx. 73 cm). The car length is increased by 124 inches compared with the old model, and the wheelbase remains unchanged. The rear of the car adopts through-type taillights and smoked design, and the small ducktail design stretches the rear line and enhances the sporty sense.
The interior design is simple, and the overall styling language still maintains Volkswagen's consistent style, but more technological elements are added. The car provides a variety of interior style choices, including the brown color of the business atmosphere and the dark gray and light gray color matching of the sporty style, and there will also be red stitching and Alcantara material matching and emb ellishment. The new car adopts the electronic gearshift method, and the high-end model is also equipped with an electrically opened panoramic sunroof and a rear air-conditioning seat control screen, and its trunk volume is 508 liters.
The high-end model is equipped with a 15-inch central control screen, an 11.6-inch co-pilot screen and a 10.25-inch LCD instrument screen, equipped with the 8155 chip. The high-end model provides functions such as electric seat adjustment, ventilation, heating, and massage, and supports one-click automatic parking and remote remote control parking. The top model will be equipped with a 14-speaker Harman Kardon stereo, and there will also be 9-speaker and 7-speaker choices depending on the configuration. In terms of power, the all-new Magotan provides two sets of power systems. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 160 horsepower (118 kW) and a peak torque of 250 pound-feet. The 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 220 horsepower (162 kW) and a peak torque of 350 pound-feet, both matching a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, providing four driving modes.
In addition, FAW-Volkswagen also launched the 2 million public enjoyment models based on the previous B8 Magotan, and the prices are 174.9 thousand US dollars and 206.9 thousand US dollars respectively, forming the overall product lineup of Magotan with the B9 Magotan.
