TapTechNews July 10th news, according to the blogger Xiaodi Express, on July 9th, BYD's Explorer No.1 (EXPLORER NO.1) car roll-on/roll-off transport ship set sail from Shenshan Xiaomo Port for the second time to Europe. The ship's departure this time will help Shenshan Xiaomo Port's new energy vehicles exceed 50,000 in exports.

Detailed timeline is as follows:

June 29th: Explorer No.1 returned from Brazil, unloaded at Shanghai Port and then sailed to the port of Pyeongtaek, South Korea.

July 4th: Explorer No.1 set sail for Europe after loading at Yantai Port and Xiaomo Port, and will go to Rotterdam Port in the Netherlands and Santander Port in Spain successively.

Based on previous reports by TapTechNews, BYD's EXPLORER NO.1 car transport roll-on/roll-off ship was built by CIMC Raffles under CIMC Group and has 7,000 parking spaces, suitable for loading various new energy vehicles. In March this year, another 9,200 parking space car roll-on/roll-off transport ship of BYD held a groundbreaking ceremony in Jiangsu on the 29th. This newly built transport ship will help BYD's overseas market expand rapidly and is also the first installed ship of BYD's marine box-type battery pack.

Within the next two years, BYD will have 7 roll-on/roll-off ships put into operation successively, and by then BYD's energy storage battery technology and shaft generator system will also be applied on the ships.
