Tencent's Headquarters Construction Update in Shenzhen Qianhai

TapTechNews August 27th news, yesterday (August 26th) marked the 14th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone, and the Shenzhen Qianhai authorities announced the latest progress of the construction of Tencent's headquarters campus.

The first phase of the Tencent headquarters campus is expected to be completed by the end of this year, and the landmark building Tencent Headquarters Building will also start construction in early 2025.

The Tencent Headquarters Building is located in the center of Penguin Island, consisting of 4 spiral-rising towers, shaped like a high-speed engine, and is named Technology Engine.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the land area of the Penguin Island project is 809,000 square meters, and the total construction area is 2 million square meters , and the planned total investment amounts to 37 billion yuan.

All the buildings on the island are friendly to all ages and are built according to the highest level standard of barrier-free environment, science and technology museums, cultural centers, sports centers and other facilities are fully open to the public.
