Giant Panda Breeding Base in Chengdu UAV Intrusion Incident and Consequences

The tourist who released the UAV privately was given administrative penalty, and at the same time, the panda base decided to ban him from entering the park (including the Panda Valley) for life. Tourist Zhang XX flew a UAV above the giant panda outdoor exhibition area in the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding yesterday (October 8th). After the on-site security personnel found out, they immediately took measures to intercept the UAV and called the police. At present, the public security organ has legally given administrative penalty to Zhang XX, and the panda base has decided to ban him from entering the park (including the Panda Valley) for life.

After comprehensive inspection and continuous observation by the breeder and veterinarian, the health status of the giant pandas in this area is currently normal.
