OPPO FindX8 New Phone with Dimensity 9400 Revealed

TapTechNews June 28th, a blogger @Digital Chat Station exposed the main parameters of a new OPPO medium cup phone today, which is expected to be the FindX8.

The blogger disclosed that this OPPO new phone is equipped with the Dimensity 9400 processor, the engineering machine adopts a 6.5-inch ±1.5KLTPO straight screen (whether it is purely straight is questionable), with a rear 50Mp Sony large-sensor triple camera and a 3X medium-base periscope, and continues to adopt Hasselblad master image tone.

Combined with the previous revelations, the medium cup FindX8 is a triple-camera single-periscope, with a main camera of 50MP 1/1.4; the large cup FindX8Pro is a quadruple-camera double-periscope, with a main camera of 50MP 1/1.4. The new periscope module of this phone uses the Sony IMX882 sensor (TapTechNews note: also known as LYT600, with a size of 1/1.953).

TapTechNews reported in May this year that the Dimensity 9400 chip adopts TSMC's second-generation N3 process and is composed of one Cortex-X5, three Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 cores, and the frequency of the X5 super-large core is about 3.4GHz. The new processor is expected to be released in October.

In addition to the OPPOFindX8 series, vivo X200 series phones are also expected to be equipped with this flagship chip to compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen4 phones at the same time.
