Apple to Launch AppleIntelligence in Autumn, with Staged Rollout and Integration Plans

TapTechNews August 2nd news, after announcing the financial report, Apple CEO Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri attended a conference call today and talked about the latest progress of Apple brand AI, that is, AppleIntelligence.

Cook said that Apple will invest more funds to develop AppleIntelligence and get ready for its launch in autumn this year. What we do is to redeploy a large number of people who are engaged in other works to the AI field.... We have our own data centers and also cooperate with others.

According to the plan, Apple will launch in stages the functions of AppleIntelligence, and the partial functions that will be gradually launched this year do not support languages other than American English, and the integration of ChatGPT and Siri is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Apple released the financial report of the third fiscal quarter of fiscal year 2024 (TapTechNews note: the second quarter, as of June 29, 2024) today. The total revenue was 85.78 billion US dollars, an increase of 5% year-on-year; the diluted earnings per share was 1.40 US dollars, an increase of 11% year-on-year.
