Leapmotor's Future Plans New Models, Intelligent Driving Advancements, and Financial Update

TapTechNews August 16th news, after announcing the financial report for the first half of this year yesterday, Leapmotor announced its subsequent product plans. After introducing products such as C10 and C16 based on the LEAP3.0 technical architecture this year, in October this year, the first global model of the B platform, B10, will be unveiled during the Paris Motor Show and will adopt Leapmotor's latest technical architecture LEAP3.5.

In terms of intelligent driving, Leapmotor claims to have achieved high-speed NAP and urban NAC intelligent driving functions, and is promoting the research and development of end-to-end large model intelligent driving system, and plans to launch urban intelligent driving functions based on the end-to-end intelligent driving large model within 2025.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Zhu Jiangming, the founder, chairman and CEO of Leapmotor, and Cao Li, the vice president of Leapmotor, disclosed in June this year that Leapmotor will form four major series of A, B, C and D in the future. The currently disclosed product plan is as follows:

Series B: Three models will be launched in 2025, focusing on the 10-150,000 yuan ($14,285.71-21,428.57) market, and high-end models will also have configurations such as lidar and high-computing intelligent driving chips.

Series D: It will come out in 2026 and will focus on the market of more than 200,000 yuan ($28,571.43).

Series A: The 100,000-yuan ($14,285.71) level A series model will be released next year and is expected to be equipped with lidar and high-level intelligent driving.

The financial report shows that Leapmotor's revenue in the first half of 2024 was 8.845 billion yuan, an increase of 52.2% compared to 5.813 billion yuan in the same period of 2023.
