VirtualBox 7.0.20 Released with Fixes and Additions

VirtualBox 7.0.20 has been released now. VirtualBox is a powerful x86 virtual machine software, which not only has rich features but also excellent performance.

This version is a maintenance release and has fixed and/or added the following items:

  • TPM: Fixed the error that appeared in the Windows guests' Event Viewer
  • macOS Hosts: Fixed the problem of passing USB devices to the VM (error #21218)
  • Audio: Fixed the problem of using HDA emulation for recording after the newer Windows 10/11 guests restart
  • USB: Fixed the OHCI deadlock problem triggered when saving the current state of the VM or taking a snapshot (error #22059)
  • Linux Guest and Host: Introduced initial support for OpenSuse 15.6 kernel
  • Linux Guest and Host: Introduced initial support for RHEL 9.5 kernel (error #22099)
  • Guest Additions: Shared Clipboard: Fixed the problem of pasting an extra new line when copying text between Win and X11 (error #21716)
  • UEFI Secure Boot: Added new Microsoft certificates to the list of new virtual machines
