Intel Addresses 90 Vulnerabilities in Latest Security Advisories

On May 16, TapTechNews reported that Intel issued 41 security advisories yesterday, addressing 90 vulnerabilities across multiple products.

The disclosed vulnerabilities mainly exist in software, with one critical vulnerability found in NeuralCompressor scoring a 10.0 high in the CVSS rating. Attackers could exploit this vulnerability to escalate privileges and remotely execute arbitrary code.

The severity of the other vulnerabilities ranges from moderate to high, affecting server products' UEFI firmware, Arc&IrisXe graphics software, and various Intel software products. High severity vulnerabilities include risks of privilege escalation attacks, DoS attacks, or information disclosure.

Medium severity vulnerabilities were found in the MeteorLakeCoreUltra processor and numerous Intel software products, including Processor Diagnostic Tool, Graphics Performance Analyzer, and Extreme Tuning Utility.
