TapTechNews June 29, Fuji X-S20, X-T5, X-H2S, X-H2 and other APS-C format mirrorless models with the fifth-generation processor received firmware updates, adding the RealaAce film simulation and fixing autofocus, crashing and other issues.
TapTechNews takes Fuji X-S20 as an example to introduce (other models are more or less the same):
1. Added the RealaAce film simulation option, aiming to faithfully reproduce colors and provide clear tone gradients, suitable for various shooting objects and scenes.
2. Autofocus issue: Even if the camera has detected human eyes, it will still focus on other subjects in the picture (this issue will be fixed in a subsequent version).
3. Half-pressing the shutter and metering issue: In very rare cases, when the user half-presses the shutter during the Auto Focus Assist Illuminator metering operation, the camera may crash (this issue will be fixed in a subsequent version).
4. External recording issue: In very rare cases, when the user connects an external monitor and meets the following setting conditions, the camera may crash during video recording:
Movie mode: 4K 16:9/59.94P
Media recording settings: H.264/MOV 422
Stabilization mode (movie): Body stabilization/combined with optical and digital stabilization
HDMI output setting: Display HDMI output information
5. Fixed other minor issues.
