Huawei Releases HarmonyOS NEXT and Its Live Photo Function

According to blogger @WHYLAB, Weibo has adapted to the function of publishing live photos of Huawei's HarmonyOS NEXT system, but only devices installed with the Galaxy version of Harmony (TapTechNews note: that is, the HarmonyOS NEXT system) can see the live picture, and the Weibo clients on Harmony 4.0, Android, and iOS still can't see the live logo.

Moreover, judging from the on-site photos of the function explanation released by blogger @Adak封狼居胥, the interface of Huawei's live photo function will be open for third-party applications to adapt, supporting one-stop operation of shooting, editing, broadcasting, and publishing.

The live photo function can capture the instantaneous image about 1.5 seconds before and after taking a photo while the user is taking a photo to enhance the information storage of a single photo. Currently, the live photos taken by Apple iPhone devices support uploading to third-party apps for viewing, and the OPPO Reno12 series mobile phones support uploading live photos to the Xiaohongshu app.
